It is time for me to tell you about my favorite brunch place in Paris. A few points will be enough for me to explain why this place is awesome!
N°1, It is located in my favorite areas of Paris, which is Saint Germain des Prés and more specifically Sèvres Babylone or "Sèvres Bab" as the connoisseurs would say. A calm and beautiful area with tons of nice (somewhat pricey) shops and quiet parcs to walk in. Perfect for a chill weekend morning!
N°2, I just love the design of this place. Essentially an industrial, white, minimalist space.
N°3, The food of course. Whereas I go there for tea time and get a delicious slice of carrot cake or for brunch on a Sunday with a friend and order a toast with poached eggs, in-season veggies and parmesan; I always come out of there with a happy belly.
N°4, They know quite a few things about coffee. As the subtitle of this article implies they are specialized in coffee and brewing. If you go on there website (http://www.coutumecafe.com/l/3793/D%25C3%25A9guster) you’ll find all sorts of coffees from around the world with a note explaining where, why and by whom it was produced as well as a bunch of coffee accessories and brewing techniques.
N°5, The prices are quite good for the area. About €35 for 2 peeps (including a main dish and a coffee or tea).
I think I’ve said enough. Now you just need to go there and check it out!
