We’ve been talking about all types of fancy brunches, from Australian menus to Asian fusion cuisine without forgetting the « hype, industrial, cool » vibe cafés which lets be honest, all serve pretty much the same dishes.
Well I thought it was time to come back to breakfast basics, EGGS! And what better way to do that than to introduce you to Eggs & Co.
Located in Saint Germain des Prés (yes again..but what can I say it is one of my favorite Parisian neighborhoods) this place is like no other. At Eggs & Co the industrial vibe is replaced by a country side one, no sleek designer stools but good old white wooden chairs and the minimalist & sophisticated interior at Eggs & Co, could basically be described as a corny, kitsch English countryside kitchen decoration. You get the drill.
So what could you possibly eat at Eggs & Co… well guessed, eggs! All sorts off eggs, sunny side up, poached, hard, scrambled, omelettes etc.
Our recommandation would be to go for good old hard boiled eggs, toasts and a side of bacon or fruits. Or you could go for a more sophisticated option and order salmon egg benedict with a side of salad and roasted potatoes.
Either way you will love it!
The only downside, Parisian prices, you’ll have to pay between €20-€30 for a Sunday brunch.
