This one is quite special for me. Indeed, as a French born in South Korea it was important for me to include one of my favorite Korean restaurants in Paris, L’arbre de sel!
Located in the 15ème arrondissement, next to the metro station Falguière this restaurant that doesn’t look like anything special when you see it from the outside, will definitely be your positive Asian surprise of the week!
This welcoming and cosy restaurant offers many affordable menus. No wonder it is often jam packed! Let me give you a tip, MAKE A RESERVATION!
For lunch you can get a starter and a main dish for around €14 and in the evening the same menu will be around €17. You can also go for a fuller option with an aperitif, a drink, a starter, a main dish and a desert for around €32.
My recommendation if you are not very familiar with the Korean cuisine and flavors would be to go down the classic route with some Mandou as a starter (Korean raviolis) or for the most daring ones out there you can get Kimchi Jeon (spicy cole pancakes), followed by a Dolsot Bibimbap for a more authentic experience (rice covered with vegetables, beef and an egg in a hot stone bowl).
Et voilà, enjoy your Korean experience!
