Craving some bò bún, some nems or some phở? Located in the fancy Parisian neighborhood of Saint Germain des Prés next to Odéon, Saigon D’Antan is the restaurant that will fulfill all your expectations. As its name suggests, it will give you a taste of the ancient traditional cuisine of Saigon (capital of Vietnam, now: Hô-Chi-Minh).
This restaurant was introduced to us by a self-proclaimed Vietnamese cuisine specialist, Thu Ha. More than a foodie, Thu Ha Nghiem is one of our fellow international student. This place might not look like anything special when you enter it but trust us, the food is worth checking out! The personnel is friendly and will gladly talk you through the large choice on the menu. You will be able to order all the famous Vietnamese dishes: bò bún, nems, spring rolls, phở soup, fried rice, fried noodles and many more…
Our personal recommendation would be the vegetarian bò bún with its thin rice noodles, its veggie nems and its delicious fried tofu.
Go check it out, you won’t regret it!
